Sayed Samer Ali AL-SHAMI has a Ph.D. in business and administration and graduated from Faculty of Technology Management & Technopreneurship, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM). The focus of his research is socioeconomic development, entrepreneurship, economy and microfinance. He worked as executive manager in the logistics department in the ministry of health and non-government organizations in Yemen from 2000 to 2007 and as a manager of the finance department for the Motherhood and Childhood Program in Yemen 2007– 2008. Now, he has been woring as lecturer in the Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka from 2017 to now.
