Lloyd Precious has taught at The Free University of Berlin, The American College of Greece, The American University of Beirut, and The Middle Eastern Technical University in Turkey. He was associate Dean of Arts and Science and Full Professor at the University of Balamand in Lebanon and Dean of the Modern Language Centre in Sanna Yemen.   From 1998 – 2004 Dr. Precious was the Director for the British Council in Northern Syria, Aleppo. In 2006 Dr. Precious was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Rockford Illinois USA. The author of several text and scholarly books as well as numerous other academic publications, Dr. Precious is a member the German Academy of Arts and Sciences as well as a Review Board Member for The Philosophical Quarterly, The Middle East Journal of Literature & Language, Malaysian English Language Teaching Association and The Southeast

Journal of English Language studies, UKM. Dr. Precious was Head of Research and Development with Brighton Education in Malaysia, and has worked as a Senior Research Fellow on a number of major Educational research Projects for the Ministry of Education Malaysia.
